I updated the tool fully and try using it for the first time on my accord with a SRS light, I went to scan it and i keep getting VIN LOOP, any ideas?

 Ummm, I did updated the tool fully before i started, got everything even the cars i will never touch. This is exactly what i did, plug the tool in and turn the car on to ON but not  turning on the engine. On the MD802 i selected the option that sats SCAN, bottom left option. Then i selected Asia, Honda. And it then communicates with the car and asks for destination, i selected USA. When i hit enter it then ask for my VIN number. I manually put it in. and it LOOPS back to this over and over, i tried picking different Destination, and same thing happens. when i try to ESCape out of it, it beeps non stop and freezes. Im not completely sure how to manual selection, please explain, thank you.
